Location

ApartHotel Anghel is at only 5 km distance from the Siena Ovest exit of the bypass road, near the historic centre of Siena; coming instead from the Cassia, after Monteroni and Isola d’Arbia, you’ll be able to drive through the Sienese hills, travelling on the scenic route of Radi and Ville di Corsano, enjoying an unrivalled view.

ApartHotel Anghel is a great starting point to visit the well-known areas north and south of Siena, which are so different but indistinguishably beautiful: to the south the Val D’Orcia, with its roads full of striking panoramas that lead to Buonconvento, San Quirico d’Orcia, Pienza (famous for its architecture and typical pecorino cheese), to Montalcino with its famous Brunello wine and Montepulciano, home of the Nobile red wine, all the way to the top of Mount Amiata, an ancient extinct volcano.

Heading north instead you go towards Florence, crossing the famous hills and vineyards of Chianti, stopping at Monteriggioni, a delightful medieval hamlet, and San Gimignano, the town of one hundred towers.
